When he was let go by the Sonics last year there were talks of him going to the Lakers, but he choose to go to the Rockets. I believe his relationship with Van Gundy made his choice an easy one.

no from the research i have done there we not even any preliminary takes about him going to the lakers plus why would they really want him the is a career journeyman who's best ever season was with the clippers and he only averaged 5.5 points/'/
