Ben Wallace for sure he can block and rebound and he is only 6 ft 10 and that is short for a center and the the 10 ten consist of the 5 Detroit Piston Starters well 4 because Chris Webber cant play D

Josh Smith is the best defensive player in the NBA in my opinon. Here's a guy who- from the small forward spot- still almost AVERAGES 3 blocks per game. Add a steal and a half per game average as well, and you're looking at- statistically- the best defender in the NBA.

Marcus Camby is a close second, but he's too injury prone to be reliable.

I think Shawn Marion is the best defensive player because he is the best all around player in the NBA.

SHANE BATTIER! He guards all of the best guys in the league, and he does a damn good job of it. Too bad he'll never get an award for it. I know the Rockets appreciate him!

As a whole I would have to say Chukwuemeka(Emeka) Okafor. At rebounding, I would have to say Tyson Chandler.
