What part of the caribbean is Jamaica located???

When I went to school they actually taught geography. We had to be able to point out the states and other countrys and name their capitols. Since then they have changed a lot of the names in other parts of the world but not many in the western hemisphere. We learned to use an atlas.
You are sitting at a computer with all of the information in the world at your fingertips. Why would you waste points asking such a simple question?
To answer your question, the tip of Florida points like a finger at Cuba and beyond to Jamacia. That is the north west part of the Caribean Sea. It is separated from the North Atlantic Ocean by Cuba and the Dominican Republic, which make up the Greater Antilles. OK?

The Caribbean is divided into two groups: the Greater and Lesser Antilles. Jamaica is located in the Greater Antilles.....which comprises of the biggest Caribbean Islands, among, Cuba, Hispaniola (Haiti & Dominican Republic) . Jamaica is South of Cuba, and is the largest english speaking Caribbean island.

Jamaica is due south of Cuba. in the Atlantic Ocean. It lyes between the 75 and 80 degrees longnitude lines and between the 15 and 20 degree latitudenal lines, there is nothing else in the box or square. Haiti lyes east by north one block over.. the Yucatan Peninsula is due west two blocks over. I've been to Jamaica 4 times and it's great . All 4 times I went to Montego

In the Antilles .... Find a Map look for the tip of Florida and those Island to the Left of Florida You will see Cuba,The Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
