Like stated below, you'll need to convert it to a VCD. Video CDs can be made using Nero Burning Rom. You convert your movie into two files. One file being a .cue file, and the other being a .bin file. You burn the .cue file as an image and you should be set within a few minutes. Also, many old DVD players will not play a VCD. You need a DVD-R disk and you need DVD burner software on your computer or you can buy a DVD burner for your tv.

you don't. Got to burn on DVD.
Can put on external harddrive.
