ANY reps please supply feedback.

Is it true that you have to order a certain amount of money every so often, is it true that most of your week nights are spent attending Mary Kay functions.

I work fulltime, go to school part time and have a 9 year old..

I have sold Mary Kay for 4 years and none of that is true. Mary Kay has training nights once a week. It is not mandatory but it helps. You don't have to order a certain amount of money every so often. Mary Kay is not a pyramid company. Those are illegal. That person who owns that web site sure didn't know who to run her Mary Kay business. Visit the official Mary Kay web site to learn the facts. http://marykay.com/mgunther2

Hello there...to answer your question about ordering...at Mary Kay your considered an "active consultant" when you are ordering a min.$200 wholesale ($400 retail) the month you place that order and 2 months there after to receive your 50% discount (profit). This tells the Company that you are out there selling the products. As for the nights you have 1 success/training meeting per week...usually 7-8:30 or 9pm. If your thinking of doing this business and want to take it seriously, trust me you will want to go to your training meeting each week. I too have 2 children and nnever miss my meeting...not only do I get trained and motivated but it is also my night out to be around adults!

I can't be completely sure about mary kay, but I know Avon is that way. I was a "victim" for a very short amount of time. They put more emphasis on promoting the business than actually selling. They could have cared less about how much you sold, but if you couldn't bring in more people to sell for you, then you were the low man on the pole. Hated it. And it consumes soooooo much time. Not only do you have to sell, you have to order your own books, go to the meetings, buy the stuff for parties out of your own pocket, put in the orders, which depending on how big it is, could take you awhile online, and so much more. Ugh, I hate it. You may not want to even try it, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate already.

Hi, I have just started as a Mary Kay consultant and I find it fantastic. Training is optional, but I have been going recently and find it a great help. Everyone can share their views and ideas and help each other out. You don't have to order any set amount either. You work your own hours and as little or as much as you want. There are always people to help you out when you need it.
