I pulled her up on AQHA owner records and the last owner on her papers was in Tifton Georgia. Email me and I can send you the complete record of ownership if you would like.

You can call the AQHA headquarters and see if the new owner registered her. Not all horses are registered again after they have been sold. The only other thing to do is put an add in the AQHA magazines and local tack shops and hopefully someone will know who has her.

One of the purposes of a registry is to keep track of horses like a title to a car. Work front to back and back to front; meaning go to the registry to see if they can find her whereabouts or even look for possible offspring to give you a lead. Also, is there anyway to find out the person whom your dad sold your horse to and try to pick up the trail from there? Contact a notable AQHA breeding farm, they might be able to assist you throught what the breed's Association has to offer and they might have some contacts, to help get word out on your search. Good luck! Keep faith that everything happens for a reason... some horses are brought into our lives for a short time and then their journey takes them elsewhere to share with someone else. Maybe your pathes will cross again or maybe you know what to look for in your next partner.

I am sorry you lost your horse. Try positing an ad on dreamhorse.com. It is a popular horse classified site and has a wanted/missing horses page. Lots of people have had success finding their old/lost/stolen horses there. Good Luck

I'm surprised you could not find her on AQHA.

You can place horse ads for free at 'http://www.cowboy.com/index.php?refid=18908'

You can also try to "Google" her registered name Make sure you put her name in quotation marks ie: "luckabella"
