Lamictal is sentitive to birth control pills and the hormonres because it causes lamictal is exit my system faster dimiinished its help by almost 75%

the problem is i am in a long term relationship. I no longer want to use condoms.. If i cant use hormonal birth control, what can i do.

i looked into cervical caps, sponges, spermicides, they are all only like 80%effective??

Sorry but that's about all there is.. Keep using the condoms. Just because it's a long term relationship doesn't mean you can stop.

Actually i just remembered.. I heard there's a female condome out now.. you could look into that. I think it comes in like a spray or gel... can't remember exactly.

The only thing that is more effective is an IUD. 94% effective.

Side effects: irritation of uterine lining. Causes bleeding, cramping, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.

Must be checked regularly.

The different types can stay in for different amounts of time. Copper T can be left in for 10 years. The Progestasert T for 1 year. And the Minera can be left in for 5 years.

There's also something called Lea's Shield. I don't know much about it, but it may be worth looking into.

You're partner could look into a vasectomy, silicone plugs, and other male contraceptives. There are gels and battery operate capsules.

consider an IUD. talk to your doctor about it, and look at the info at planned parenthood's site (i think it's plannedparenthood.org)
