I'm 14 and I love fiction, romance and some fantasy. Some of my favorite books are A Walk to Remember, Twilight, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Harry Potter, and The Clique (but I'd rather not get into more girl books). I like lengthy books (like Twilight), but as long as it has a great story I really don't mind if it's shorter.

The Princess Bride by Goldman, you'll love it. It's a marvelous novel.
A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels by Bray are great books as well, and since you like Twilight, you'll probably like them too.
Oh, and have you read New Moon? It's the sequel to Twilight, and it's marvelous like Twilight is!
You should also read the Chronicles of Narnia by Lewis. It's a great series.
Enjoy!

Checkout the Xanth series by Piers Anthony. You will love it the first one is called A spell for Chameleon. Another great Fantasy series which you would probably love is Symphony of the Ages by Elizabeth Haydon. Excellent books. Being 14 I think you would also like The Notebook..The movie was not nearly as wonderful as the book. Also You might want to read Bridges of Madison County.

My daughter's and I all enjoy the Pendragon series by DJ MacHale. We also enjoyed the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. If you liked Harry Potter then look into the Wizard series by Diane Duane or Charlie Bone by Jenny Nemo. And if you are really brave and into long books try reading the full version of the Lord of the Rings...talk about great story!

I would read the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. There are two out and soon to be a third. They are written in the point of view of a fourteen year old girl who has wings. She lives with a few others like her. It is a totally amazing ride.
Try Eoin Colfer if you feel like some fantasy. Faeries to be exact.

I'm 14 and I really liked Sarah Dessen's books, so you could try those. Also the Sabriel series was really great fantasy, and I like the Sloppy Firsts series. Though they're actually meant for adults, they were quite possibly the best books I've ever read!

Anything by Madeleine L'Engle outside of the Wrinkle in Time series is fantastic - my all-time favorite is "Ring of Endless Light" - with "Arm of the Starfish" coming in a very close second. There are others based on same characters and family - I would recommend any of them - you can read them "in order" but this is not necessary.
