my cousin has a laptop computer , when she first got it she bought a belkin notebook card to plug in the side of the computer , when she did that she went to internet explorer and had internet , that was back in july now just last month her internet just stop working she can't get on when she trys a blank white screen comes up it shows all the tool bars but it won't let her go to anything, so she called the belkin card and they said that they don't provide the internet they just are a router , they said that she has to contact her isp , but she never had an isp she just got the internet when she put in the belkin card , so if belkin didn't give her the internet and she never had an isp then where did her internet come from and why don't she have it anymore???????

Yep, she received a wireless signal from one of her paying neighbors who didn't have their connection secured. Either the neighbor moved or got wise and encrypted his connection. She will have to purchase DSL, Cable, or wait until she picks up another unprotected signal from someone in the area.

I wish I had been there to hear the belkin rep. Your cousin was poaching someone else's wireless signal. They have either moved, turned off or secured the router.

YEAH MAYBE HER LAPTOP WAS EAVESDROPPING ON ANOTHER WIRELESS SIGNAL.
MAYBE HER NEIGHBOUR MOVED OUT
JUST RELAX THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR BELKINS CARD
A WIRELESS CARD CAN CATCH A SIGNAL IN DIAMETER OF 150 APPROX
