I like Canguro's reasoning, especially the part about Stockholm Syndrome *#4 about Jack playing football with the Others*. Unless Jack is trying to pretend to be an Other now...you know, make them think he's on their side now.

1. He's probably getting paid close to a million per episode, and his character is always looking for "the light": the answer to "Why are we here?" Now it seems he wants to lead them to redemption.

2. I don't believe they could possible twist his father, paralysis and fascination with hunting from previous seasons/episodes and make him a part of the 'others'.

3. The Darma Iniciative was a scientific exploration of the human psychosis that met an end due to poor funding. It was similar to Big Brother, only M rated and anything goes kind of mentallity. Now its remains and a few of the 'others' is all that is left- as far as we, the viewers, are aware.

4. It's when you start to see the world from your kidnapper's point of view- the hostage psychosis.

Locke is acting suspicious lately. He just happened to accidentally blow up the Communication Station yet was able to collect alittle C-4 for Himself in the process.
Then He just happens to sacrifice their one eyed captive by throwing Him into the Sonic Fence.
Is He an "Other" Don't know if I'd go that far, but Mr. Locke has secrets alright.
I believe the Dharma Initiative was always a Human Behavior Experiment. The key to it's full purpose may lie in the definition of Dharma itself.
It is an Eastern Philosophy similar to Karma that one can reach a plane of perfect existance simply by making all the right choices.
I wouldn't give up on Dr. jack just yet. Remember He has developed somewhat of a secret alliance with Julia. I believe they are simply buying time by building trust with their captors. That's what i would do.

Locke was in a wheelchair when the plane crashed. Suddenly he was able to walk again. I don't think he is an other - it showed him on the plane. I guess we'll be finding out why Jack is playing football this week (I hope)...
