If you read the boxes on those "early detection" tests, the accuracy rate is very low and only gets better the closer to the date of your period. I wanted to take those early tests, but my doctor insisted I wait until the day I was supposed to get my period--to truly see if I was indeed. He also told me that if I didn't get a positive result to test for 3 days in a row and see what happens as the pregnancy hormone gets stronger as the days go on. Luckily for me, I tested positive on my first test, which was the day I was supposed to get my period.
It is difficult to wait, but the more accurate the test, the better it will be for you. If you are anxious about getting pregnant, all you will do is drive yourself crazy. Just be patient and test the closest to the day of your period--and a few days afterward---to make sure there is actually any pregnancy hormone in your body or not. Good luck!

If you are trying to get pregnant there is no need for you to rush into testing. If you are the type who pays attention to your body, you will know when you are ovulating ( a lot of mucousy discharge and then thick discharge like egg white around the 13th day from the start of your period.) This is the best time for you to conceive. Stay away from each other until this time. Your chances of getting pregnant with a boy is great. Try. Good luck

You tested way to early. I know it says on the test that you can test a day before your period or a day after your missed period but in some cases it wont show up on a pregnancy test for up to 3 weeks.
Some people it will show up the day after a missed period for others, like me, it takes 3 weeks for it to show up.
I thought testing a week after my missed period was to early and your testing before you even miss your period.
Your crazy. Give it time.
I do know what your talking about though. I always think that if I test to soon I will jinx it.
I am currently 3 weeks late and still a negative on the pregnancy test. I talked to other women and with some it took 4-5 weeks before it showed up with them.
It's always different for everyone.
Good luck.

don't sense badly, i wanted young toddlers and that i under pressure and wanted everytime.. I now have 4... there isn't something incorrect with hoping for a infant..yet you comprehend, there could be some certainty to what you assert approximately tension and not getting pregnant... i'm assuming you have tried early on your cycle with the fertility video show gadgets and not in basic terms suitable at days 14-sixteen... sometimes you ovulate early or overdue... in case you have the money attempt attempting out every day from while your era is finished with the aid of day 20... get this I Ovulate day 19!!! in case you arent ahving a Lh surge there are various treatments to apply to help... purely dont tension.... it does make your physique react weirdly!

Nah, you either are or you aren't. But remember that because we can test so early, we are not only finding out sooner that we are pregnant, which is great for optimal pre-natal care, but if we miscarry early, we know that too. For instance, I was pregnant last September, but miscarried in my 6th week. Had I not known that I was pregnant, I would have thought my period was just a little late.

You cannot affect whether you are pregnant. If you are, when you test has nothing to do with the fact that you are already pregnant. It is nothing but a non-logical feeling without any fact.

No, I don't believe you are jinxing yourself. I believe you can't change what already is (or is not). I do believe you are making it more nerve wracking for yourself though. I know it's hard to wait, but even harder when it comes back negative.

I do not believe testing early is going to jinx it. Either you are pregnant or your not. Not much going to change that.
