How tone deaf are these judges sometimes? How can they LOVE Blakes performance which was terrible and tell Lakisha that hers wasn't up to par when she sang the song fabulous? And no, that song she sang CAN NOT be sung right with runs, it would have killed that song. They rarely used that technique in any style of music in the 60's.
How do they hate Phil's perfomance but like Chris' (the one with the glasses). Are they all on drugs during certain performances?

Melinda, Jordin and Lakisha are the best ones in my opinion. They are awesome singers.

And just so you know I am a trained singer. I have an impecible ear and practically perfect pitch. Have studied all era's of music, just so you know that I am coming from a musically educated point of view.

I have to disagree with you, too. I liked Blake's performance, I also liked Lakisha's but not as well as usual. And Phil sucked and Chris S. was pretty good. Most people that watch American Idol aren't musically trained they are going to pick who they want to hear on their radio and maybe we are all tone deaf like the judges but we still have the final say with the vote.

Blakes performance WAS good. He sang the melody, but made it his own. And he CAN sing! As far as their comments on Lakisha... she said it herself - if that's what she sounds and looks like 25 years from now then she must be doing ok! I loved the song that Phil chose, but I'm still not a Phil "phan" haha. And Chris S did a wonderful job tonight!
I think we just seem to have a different taste for musical style, you and me.

now i liked blakes performance, i like how he makes everything his own, I thought lakisha worked it but they didn;t i I think america is tone deaf for not sending sanjaya assss home last week. also was it just me or was that little crying girl getting on my nerves melinda and jordin are my two favs followed by lakisha and blake....hopefully they vote gina or sanjaya off

You need to get some better speakers.
Phil was shouting and not singing
Blake was true to song.
Lakisha was close to what the song should sound like.
And Chris was pretty good for a person walking around.
Don't worry , his was not the worst performace.

Honestly I think your crazy when you don't like Blakes but I do agree with you for Lakisha's she was great to.
