you have to clean them out and expand them first:

*boil a tub of water and steam it over your face with a damp towel on your face

*sit like that for about10-15 minutes
* then go cleanse face with a good cleansing scrub or try the biore cleanser that specializes in the large pores issue(try a cleanser that has natural things like papaya, avocado, chamomile, tea tree oil, etc.) like got2b in your face pore me deep scrub

*after cleansing your face with warm water, immediately put a thin/medium-medium/thick layer of a clay masque on your face, like got2b pure intent clay masque and leave on for the suggested time on the bottle of the masque you choose to use.

Before you try the St. Ives Scrub, which does help a little, try an even cheaper option. Baking soda. Put a teaspoon or so in a bowl and a small amount of water to make a paste and then gently put it on your face. Wash it off after 20 minutes. Do that a few times a week (unless your skin is too sensitive for that)for two weeks and see what happens. It has helped me, and has helped other people too. Search online about it to get more info.

i cant be sure if it's true, but i've heard that two way cake foundation enlarge pores.... so if you're using that on a regular basis, maybe you would like to switch to a liquid foundation or pressed powder.
to try to shrink your pores, you have to clean them first. it's up to you but you may like to try this routine out.
wash your face throroughly with a cleanser that suits your skin.
steam your face using a facial steamer. and if you're not willing to part with your money, wet a clean face towel, throw it into the microwave for 30 seconds and place the steamed towel over your face to open up your pores.
after that i would use a facial scrub and wash it off using COLD water.
then prepare your face by applying toner before you apply a facial mask. choice of facial mask is up to you. if you think your skin is dehydrated, get a hydrating mask. if you think your skin is oily, get a sebum controlling mask and etc.... some masks requires you to wash off the essence while some dont.
after that carry on with your usual moisturising, and treatment.
you can also source for a good pore refining cream or pore minimising cream for everyday usage.

Avon Retexturizing Peel helps with enlarged pores but no matter what you use, if you are not faithful with it, it is not going to matter. In other words, there is no miracle treatment. :)

there is no possible way to actually shrink your pores, theyre stuck like that. however, you can make them appear smaller by using pore mimimizing creams, facewashes, microdermabrasion(traditionally used to eliminate look of acne scars and wrinkles)
