Since she got her glasses, Alyssa's better than ever. She's new to the district (not the city), and has been here since late January.

Well, if you have not heard, I dig girls with glasses (along with tall girls). And I never, ever, ever, as long as I live on this God's Earth, go for looks over personality, but vice-versa (the other way around).

What I'm thinking is that I like Alyssa. She's in three of my nine classes (yes, I said nine classes), and we're good friends.

Therefore, I wish to ask her out.

But there is some part in my mind for revenge. Revenge on the girl who is now mean to me for the eight hours of the school day.

The above context refers to Erin.

I want to get revenge on her for being mean to me, ditching our date, postponing our consollation, and being mean to me.

I don't think of that much.

But what's the worst that could happen if I ask out Alyssa?

If you honestly like her, then don't be afraid to ask her out. The worst that could happen? She says no.
If you're only asking her out for revenge, don't bother. Relationships happen whether good or bad. Usually they end, especially when you're young, but this is a time for you to find yourself first and then focus on finding the perfect one. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Don't get hung up on one when there's another out there that might be better for you.

As long as you are doing it because you actually like her and want to spend time with her. Don't do it if it is just to make someone else jealous. Only Alyssa will be the one who ends up hurt.

Go ahead, ask her out! Have fun. But don't do it if it's a game. That kind of hurt lasts a lifetime.

The worst is that she could say no, but you knew that. You are just worried about the other girl and how she treats you, you can't worry about that and sooner or later the other kids will see her for who she is. If the problem does not go away soon go and talk to the school counselor, that’s all you can do.

I say go for it, and if Alyssa says no, a smart person like her won't be repelled by you and a cool person like you won't be offended. Just don't do this to get back at Erin, as rude as she was. Ignore Erin and focus on Alyssa, and it'll show your feelings about both of them.

you'll be hurting a friend(Alyssa) just to try and prove a point do you want to keep her as a Friend? as not many friendships turn into relationships

but up to you if you want to ask her out

The worst thing that can happen if you ask her out is that she says NO!
Not being mean or anything, just saying it as it is..

She say no, and then there's this agony of ackwardness. but you will never know unless you ask. If you are scared, just ask yourself if you can live with never knowing what she would say.
