Just about each key will type in 2 letters as opposed to just the one designated character. Is there an easy way to fix this that I'm missing or is it useless now? Sorry if this doesn't come out very legible, I am using the laptop and have to go through and delete about 70% of the letters that are automatically put in.

For Example: If I were to type "Hi everyone, I hope that you are having a good evening" it would come out like this...

Hik edvedrfyolned, IK holp;ed thqat yoluj qarfed hqavikng qa gololed edvednikng.

Ugh... any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Before you throw out your laptop or reload it, make sure your scroll lock (ScrLk) and num lock keys are off.

The keyboard has to be replaced. If your laptop is more than a year old then the keyboard is either clogged up with dust or there is a real problem. You could either have it cleaned, if not it has to replaced. Seeming that your keyboard has been fooling around, its a serious problem.
