You could have one of two problems. 1) could be that you lost a phase. 2) You may have lost the Neutral wire in your Service.

Your service connection from your meter has three wires that connect to your breaker panel, two are hot (A&B Phase), the third wire is your neutral wire which connects to the neutral/ground bar.

You need to have the electrician that changed out your box come back and inspect all his connections.

The neutral loss can cause you to have more than 120 volts going to your plugs on the affected phase and less than 120 volts to the other phase. This can burn up appliances, bulbs, AC units, etc.

under no circumstances upon under no circumstances replace a circuit breaker with one in each of an more desirable amperage. The circuit breaker is rated to the dimensions of load the twine can wisely handle. Doing so will pose to be a fireplace threat...the overload might reason the twine to overheat and soften the insulation on it, and might reason a quick and a fireplace. If the circuit breaker seems to be defective, replace it with a clean 15 amp one. changing a circuit breaker could be a house made undertaking, purely use wide-unfold electric risk-free practices practices. via the sound of what you have for a load, i will see why the it would be tripping. The heater could be fairly be pulling a minimum of 10 amps or extra effective and the microwave could be around 8 amps...till that could be a convection type that are around 12 amps. you prefer the placed severe draw equipment which includes warmers and microwaves on separate circuits.

Probably the neutral connection is loose at either the main box or the meter base. If for example you turn something like an appliance on and a light gets much brighter, this is almost certainly the case. You need a competent electrician, like tomorrow. Not only is this a fire hazard, it will likely damage or destroy things like tv's and computers.

Sounds to me like you overloaded a circuit. Try unplugging some of the things on the side of your house that doesn't work and resetting the switch. May be safer though to call an electrician if your surging.

sounds like your outside disconnect breaker is going bad or you have lost your neutral..lights getting bright or dim when you turn on/off other appliances such as electric stove or dryer also indicates a bad neutral or lose of one leg of the main power lines coming into your house...you need to get an electrician there soon before it damages your appliances and other things such as tv. computer or other perphipals you have plugged in

You "DROPPED" a leg. Hopefully, this wil work. Go to the outside breaker...shut it off and press it with a little force into the off position...now turn it back on...CHeck lights..Worked...GREAT...DIdn't? May need a new breaker outside. Sorry

Check your Breakers in the switchbox and see if any are throwed, sometimes it's hard to tell if they are throwed. If they are throwed they will be halfway in between on and off, first flip to off then to on in the same motion...

You need to get the dude that installed the circuit breakers back before you set yourself a new hairdo.
