Go to format > paragraph > line spacing and change it to whatever you need (single, double, triple...)

Or you can go to the button that has a block of text and an arrow pointing up and down, then pick the little arrow tab thingie and select the line spacing you need.

Up on the tool bar, find the Format and click, on the drop down, find the Paragraph and click, on the drop down, find the line spacing and pick what you want.

NOTE: the cursor should be at the top of the page as most M$ Word functions happen from the line the cursor is on and from there on down the document!

Go to the FORMAT tab at the top of the page (mine is the 5th from the left). From this, select Paragraph (the 2nd option). Then there is a part that says SPACING. In this section you can pick single, 1.5, double, etc.
