In Karma conception, dangerous karma can't be defeated by means of doing well karmas. The account for dangerous karmas are separate. And the account of well karmas are separate. The results of karma can't be mitigated. It should be loved or suffered. There is a Sanskrit Sloka: "Avasyam anubhogthavyam kritham karma subha asubham; naa bhugtham ksheeyathe karma kalpa koti sathairapi". Meaning; We ought to endure the consequences of our karmas, if it is well or dangerous. No karma gets erased by means of doing different deeds. Sometime we must believe that we don't seem to be doing and that nature is bringing this sort of situation to drive us to take a natural direction to adopt that movement. There is a pronouncing in Mahanarayana Upanishad: "Kamokarsheet Manyurakarsheet Namo Namah". It is an tricky factor, which I don't desire to provide an explanation for right here. If Karma truly existed then every bad thing thought, spoken or done would comeback to get you. That includes pride, arrogance, lust, etc. Who is the avenger? Good Karma would have to work the same way. My faith is in Jesus Christ and his teachings in the bible paint a more loving approach to the bad and good things we do.

good karma: helping a old man accross the street and in return you find 5 dollars on the sidewalk
bad karma: throwing a cheeseburger at someone, in return your car brakes down in the middle of no where

Yep I do believe in Karma /coz it will get ya. My sis also does y'see we were travelling and her gum lost it's flavor so she threw it out the window. When we stopped to get gas about 1 hour later she stepped in gum. Karma WILL get ya

Yeah, karma is quite believable in my eyes.
But sometimes you get things happen are not due to your own actions and what would that be called, bad luck I suppose.
