What was wrong? Why was she crying so much? Was she THAT emotional about the singers or what??

*laughs* Really, though... Although Sanjaya wasn't great, I'd rather watch him than some girl crying the entire time.

I joked earlier about her crying about Sanjaya being so bad, but to be honest, she was a young girl so excited and emotional about the whole thing. She was crying since he beginning of the show.

My hubby and I were CRACKING up when they kept showing her during Sanjaya's performance!!! She looked like she was crying because it was so horrible! Like Simon, I seriously couldn't tell if she was happy or sad! That's a girl that needs to get away from the TV and celebrity scene for a bit and get back to real life!!

I actually found another site that said she was there with the Make a Wish foundation, and that Simon Fuller had made her his personal guest (supposedly he was sitting behind her, I didn't notice, cause all I seen was her crying), but anyway, she has said that more than anything she wanted to live long enough to see the AI tour, and that she doesn't think she will live that long....I don't know if this is true or not, just something I read on a message board!!

Just a little star struck, thats all. I would be sobbing if I saw celebs in person. They showed waaay too much of the poor kid though. I mean shes on the sensitive side, so what? Maybe she'll be the next Idol. But I would have been mortified if they showed me doing that. She was hugged by Sanjaya though so it makes it all worth it, right?

OMG! i was laughin my head off! I think that she was just soo emotional that she likes him and that u know when kids see a celeb that they freakin fall to the ground and scream. when i was obsessed with zac efron i called him and screamed! see that can be a emotional breakdown because shes probably seen him and thinks that hes soo great. i only would cry if blake lewis was there! (he was but i mean if i was there) my friend and i saw magic johnson but we didnt scream we just asked him to shoot around with us since we were at a gym in Maui that had bball courts outside. when people get really excited or nervous thay can think "OMG! i like love this person! i have to become friends! does my hair look ok? AHHH!" then they walk up and hyperventilate and the satrs are all like ok he he this person is a retard! SECURITY! and then the person is screaming because the celeb was talking. Only Geeks and Major LBRs do that. ( LBR is Loser Beyond Repair!) HOPE I HELPED!

All her crying got her up onstage with the contestants and have Ryan and Simon talk about her. She was STARSTRUCK. That makes her an overnight celeb. BUT she really looked goofy when she was crying and she probbably got LOTS of camera time..she seems to be rich because she was like wayyy in the front row. I was seriously laughing when they showed her.

Supposedly, she went to see a taping of "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?" with tickets that also entitled her to see a dress rehersal of American Idol.
At the dress rehersal, she was so emotional that the producers porposely invited her to see the taping & sit near the front (so the cameras could find her).

I think she was just so happy to be there that she couldn't help but cry (sob more like), but I wish they hadn't shown her so much
Honestly, I felt sorry for her-we all have our moments where we get emotional, but they didn't need to keep flashing back to her-I though that was a bit cruel.

I was about to ask the same question...then I saw yours! No kidding! I thought maybe she had done something special or maybe fox had "made her dream come true"...nope. I think she was just excited and didn't know how to properly handle her emotions!
