i dont know how to get the equation...
once i have the equation i think i can work it out...
but i dont know how 2 put that in an equation and balance it

The Chlorine will replace the Iodine as follows:

Cl2 (g) + 2 NaI (aq) ---> 2 NaCl (aq) + I2 (s)

One mole of Chlorine gas will produce 2 moles of Sodium chloride.
