Good question. This would depend on the relationship.I would say there's a fine line dividing both sometimes.

Whatever ... You are totally off and wrong about this one... They are no where near the same or alike!!!! Dont even put them in the same category. You really need to get a life and grow up! There is a BIG difference between marriage and prostitution. you need money to buy a car or even a house or clothes... Nothing is really free in life. Does not make everything bad though. Prostitution is a one time quick deal with no emotions or anything good involved and it is only for the money and wham bam i am done and take your money and you may even end up with an std with it. Marriage is for life and for love and supposed to be til death do you part. way different and so much better if you ask me. Getting divorced costs money too pal. So does raising kids and things like that.... Food even costs money. Wow you need to be educated.

Duh is this a legit question if so your a moron. Marriage is the commitment between a man and a woman in love and wish to spend there life together or man/man, woman/woman,. Prostitution on the other hand is soliciting sex from a complete stranger for the purpose of sex how do figure these two have anything in common. Maybe it's time to start reading some books and get your head out of comics. The money spent to get married is a government issue to show them you are legally married to one and another as husband and wife since you have tax laws and other identification systems that use this to verify your union.
Like I said before in prostitution you are buying sex period!
Plz. grab a brain because well right know your showing alot of people how ignorant you are!

You can't look into marriage as a s*x point of view. I think your looking at one direction. Marriage is the seed of love it is what unites to loved ones to establish a partnership. Within this partnership we have our responsibilities and duties of showing affection, care and growth. Growth can be growing emotionally towards each other or it can be even financially working for your goals together. These are very important it is what keeps a married couple together. Obviously within affection there's things like nice words to your wife or husband, holding hands, hugging or s*x which is all in the affection category. I hope this all makes sense to you. What good life be if it was only about S*X?

The difference is that the male gets stuck to one funhole while the female gets to insert all kinds of love rods. Like it matters if the woman is married or not. She will continue this while she claims to be faithful.
At least prostitution is a straight deal. Marriage is a whole lot of mind games.

Well I guess you would get a totally different answer from a man whos wife has lost interest in sex....he would probably love to pay her for sex.....lol. There is a huge difference between prostition and marriage....a prostitute pretends to enjoy sex with all the men she screws.....a wife does enjoy intimacy with her husband......well she should. Enjoyment of sex is not exclusively a man's domain. Unfortunately though, lots of women are still conditioned to think that sex is dirty, and it's a chore they have to perform to keep their man happy. If the woman and/or man has been conditioned to think this way, they yes, I guess there is no difference between marriage and prostituion.

Well a prostitute is for one night! A wife is for at least a week, if you last that long.Being that most marriages do not make it through the first year these days!

Marriage starts with a down payment and can be very expensive to leave with no time limit, whereas prostitution usually (or so I'm told ) is for a fixed fee and fixed time scale.

Marriage is legal, prostitution is not.
Marriage is based on truth and love -prostitution is not.
You can have a family and a home with marriage, with postitution you will never have anything, especially money.
Get the picture?

Marriage is a commitment made between a man and a woman to spend their lives together based on love, trust & honesty.
Prostitution is just paying someone for sex.
There's a WHOLE lot more to marriage than just sex.

The difference depends on the guy she's married to. Some husbands believe that just because they marry someone, they are "entitled" to sex. He gives her a ring, so she has to pay for that ring. If she gives it up for something like that, then she could be considered one. If she gives it up to him because that's what she CHOOSES to do to show her love and commitment then that makes her a wife.
