I always use my phone to take pics. but the last few pics i have took will only save as a bin file & none of my photo editors can pick bin type up.

any help be great

I tryed paint it wont work either. & i tryed opening it with the inturnet & clicking save as but it stil wont work...

A .bin is a compressed MacOS library...

It sounds like your phone is trying to make it hard for you to use the images directly on your computer. They may have just taken a standard format and renamed it (like renaming a .jpg file to .bin) or it may even be in a proprietary format, or a new or rarely used format, like Microsoft's HD Photo.

I use a program called Irfanview, along with the full set of plugins, which you can download from the Irfanview website, because it is small, free, and can open and convert more image formats than any other program I have used. Another nice feature of it: if you try to open an image that has been renamed, say from some other format to .bin, it will identify the correct image type and offer to fix the filename for you automatically.

Bin? Never heard of that.

But in most cases you can open it with paint. If you can, Do a save as but list the file type as a .jpg below the file name box.

If you can't, you can look on downloads.com for a converter.
