answers good so far if a cleaner don't work could be a blocked air vent. Also if you got a septic tank then could be full. Pump out or use a bacteria activate to help clean it. Heard baking soda cleans activates the bacteria to get rid of waste

Could be a slow drain. Use a comercial drain cleaner a few times. If no good call Roto-Rooter (or live with a slow drain). Septic tank?? Might be full.

You either have somthing caught in the trap section.. or at the gasket connector level.. (both you pretty much have to yank the toilet or buy a new one) has anyone been flushing tampons match sticks or qtips? either will do it....
