It took me quite awhile. We met in college, became friends, enjoyed hanging out together, and then "something happened" when we went out to dinner one night a few years later...we clicked.
We dated for a long time (11 years...Thank GOD she waited).
We took a limo from her job to a romantic restaurant along the Hudson River, and I had a airplane fly by with a flag that said "Her Name - would U marry me?" She said yes, we've been married the last 17 years, and I've loved EVERY minute of it!

For us, it happened pretty quick. I do not remember the exact moment but I knew from the minute I first saw him it was going to be good. And it has, 3 years of marriage and one baby. BTW we are a blended family with 5 children and have been through much more than a lot of couples of only 3 years and are still in love.

Great question...
I realized that I was in love with my wife, probably a couple months after we started dating. We just started out as friends hanging out, and got closer, and I think a couple months into our relationship I really felt a deeper connection there and love.
That was almost 14 years ago now, and we have been married for 10 going on 11 years this Aug.

About 2 weeks after meeting him and i just knew he was the right one for my life lol... Now even almost nine years later he still is and it has not changed one bit!!! Still love him and it grows stronger and better all the time! Dont know what i would ever do without him in my life. He also knew within about a month that i was the right one for him and his life as well... Yes he was God's will for my life.

I knew I loved him but truly did not realize I was absolutely in love with him until I almost lost him to a heart problem after we had been married 25 years. That was 4 years ago...Learned to cherish every day. Knew that before but never want to wake up without him...Thank you for a wonderful question Sunshine....Alda

When he asked me if there was anything on my hard drive that I wanted saved before he reformatted the drive.
I don't say that lightly. I know that sounds completely frivolous. But truly, no one had every asked me that before. It showed me that he cared about my wants and desires. It showed me how considerate he was. I knew then that I loved him. He was it. I was done.
I looked up from the book I was reading in shock, every time any of my prior BFs came over to fix my computer I always just lost everything and had to start over. I blurted out that I loved him. He gave me the biggest grin. And that (as they say) was that.

It was sort of gradual. Then, all of a sudden BOOM my feet were turned inside-out. I started thinking of him all the time; missing him when we weren't together, etc. Ah, that was 22 years ago we were falling in love - 21 of those we've been married. What a life!

The moment I laid my eyes on him I knew he was the one for me and I knew right then that I loved him. But of course I didn't tell him that! I told him about a month later.
