She has a good shot at it =] She's full of energy and spirit, she has a wonderful voice!!! She shows a lot of projection and either way she is going to make it far!!

Melinda is clearly the most talented on the show, and should win.
People are way overhyping Lakisha. Lakisha is a big girl with a big voice, but she is unoriginal and entirely unable to sing runs.
Melinda's biggest competition is either Blake, who is a mediocre singer but actually has style and is a bit unique, or J. Sparks, who is the second best singer on the show.

I think Melinda is definitely one of the best two singers. Lakisha has her nights too. They are definitely my two favorite girls.
But...unlike what everyone else is saying, I DON'T think a girl will win this year. I think even though those two have the best voices, Blake will actually sell the most records. I think Chris R. has a very modern (JT-like) voice, too.
My money's on Blake...

I do! She or Lakeesha. Melinda has such great energy and is consistant each week. Lakeesha has that big voice that she really brings out!

I dont see her winning it but she'll be around for AT least a few more weeks. Shes a very good singer!
