It has been uncomfortable at times. In all the years i was a single parent and staying alone to focus on my girls, there were times I was made to feel like a third world citizen because I was on welfare... I was an active parent and attended many meetings in big gracious homes with almost all of them happily or otherwise married 2 parent homes with a lot of disposable income for the kids.

No, if you are single you're single. No point of finding it shameful. It's not like you need someone all the time.

no, are you kidding??? i love being single. i need my personal space. i hate when a guy gets up in my bizness.

sadly, the people i seem to attract are guys that want a commitment and marriage. yikes!
