Hello, We have community gatherings in our neighborhood almost every weekend. We meet for lunch and end up throwing a whole lot of styrofoam plates and cutlery in the trash. I'm looking to replace them with bio-degradable materials. Can anyone suggest a cost effective solution? I also would like to know what kind of compost bin we would need with it. Thanks in advance.

You can purchase biodegradable plasticware. We do it at Yale University.

Why not use real stuff? Take it home and wash it for the next time.
