Do kids just say there bored because they don't know what else to do besides computers, mp3s, and other modern technology or do they say it because they really are bored?

I think they don't know what else to do. I'd be bored enough that I'd browse through a volume or two of our encyclopedias if it was too bad out to ride my bike. I really think that some of them don't know how to entertain themselves without their electronic toys.

When I was a kid there was NOTHING!!
Gore, I was bored!!!!!
Kids today have NO imagination, because they don't need one, EVERYTHING is given to them.
Just look at the Just tell me, because I cannot be bothered to look myself, Questions, on here from kids!
Lazy gits!

They are overstimulated with all of the gadgets you mentioned, in CONSTANT contact with friends/web, and when they have to go without...I'm sure they are somewhat bored. But no.....they havn't a CLUE about true boredom!
