I teach computers to grades K-5. I know what you mean. You want very safe sites.

I won't even use Disney since it advertises some of their PG and R movies.

The mousing around site has NO ADS that the kids accidently click on. They all think they are going to win free Ipods or tvs or something.

The first site has great math and language arts games or learning sites for that grade.

I have seven children (a while 12, eleven, nine, eight, 6, four, and a pair of), and the satisfactory factor that I've performed is to shop for black line masters (that means that you'll be able to replica them) So what I do is replica each and every workbook as I get them, and positioned the pages into an accordian dossier situated on grade and discipline. This method we will reuse each and every booklet as the following child comes up. We use workbooks from Mardels, even though we have now gotten a few satisfactory ones at Sam's membership/walmart (the Everything for Grade sequence follows countrywide go knowledge and are very complete. We do not use books till prime college age, and the ones we get from the general public library and curriculum earnings via our neighborhood homeschool organization. Most corporations have earnings within the spring and fall...or will enable ISO or FS posts on their electronic mail record serves.

I teach third grade, but several of the websites I use in my classroom are also good for younger students. Managing students on the internet can be a little tricky, but I've had a lot of luck with picking the one site that I want them to visit during that day's center time and before I send them to centers I get on the classroom computer that is connected to the big screen tv and we play the game together for a few minutes. Doing that seemed to cut down on the number of times they needed to ask questions. If you want to do a little shameless brown-nosing, try having them do something online that can be printed and hanging it in the hallway with a standard beside it (e.i. "Math Standard 123 -We used the internet to make pictographs").

www.starfall.com is a good site for early reading. Students can read a book with the help of the computer and they can also play phonics games.

www.studydog.com is a downloaded set of reading games that my students seems to like, but each game can last 30+ minutes and I personally find the dog character annoying :)

www.internet4classrooms.com/sk... and www.internet4classrooms.com/sk... are both link sites that will take you to hundreds of grade-level websites.

It's probable to spend lots of time and money trying to find approaches to train your kids how to read and improve their studying skills. Is difficult to teach a tiny child how to learn, and also attractive them to learn is challenging in itself. Nonetheless it does not need to be this way when you got the help of this program https://tr.im/Ij4Zr , Children Learning Reading program.
With Children Learning Reading you can teach your youngster how to split up sounds and break phrases into phonemes, an important point whenever your child is just learning to spell.
The reading system from Children Learning Reading program makes it simple for children to see easily and properly, from easy phrases to sentences until they understand to see stories.
