We are involved in this community service program and we are going to camp for a weekend. My Friend just told me tonight that she is not coming to the weekend because she work. She just told me at our meeting 2night. We have gone and had fun for the past 3 years. She wants to go to New Zeland and says she is only coming this year for the saterday seminar. We are the oldest in our club and run the club. This means I will be bunking with 14 years olds and under (uhhhh). I have to go because I am the club leader but I am really upset with her. What should i do?
PS. You can only go if you are in the club so I cant have any other friends go. She just told me tonight and it is only a little ways off

hmm.
sticky situation.
i can see why you'd be upset.
more of a warning would be better.

However.
she has to work.
its not like shes ditching you to hang out with another friend.

While she may not have conducted her timing accurately....I think you should relax a bit. It sucks that she can't go but like i said...shes working.

So even though it may suck.....just deal with it. Besides...theres nothing else you can do about it so why waste your time and energy being angry?

She isnt going because she has to work?
If i read that correctly, you are being a baby. Dont be mad at her for having other more important things to do.

And if she didnt visit when you had your tonsils removed, you should tell her it bothered you. Im sure she didnt mean to hurt your feelings.

How old are you anyway? You act like a 12 year old, so bunking with 14 yr olds should be fun. =)

Good luck

I would be annoyed but what can you do? Tell her that she owes you one and when you are stuck she will have to do the club thing alone one time to repay you for your time too. Its an even trade and make sure she knows that she can't get away with this all the time, when she can't go she owes you. Try to find someone else you trust into the club so that there are always two of you going. Think about it, it may relieve some stress of doing all by yourself. Take care Heather

Maybe you should rethink your friendship.
