Hi, everyone

I have this question about traffic schools and courts. I have been to traffic school about 8-9 months ago. I just recently receive another one. My question is when I go to court and plead will I be able to plead my case first then plead for traffic school if my case "don't work" after. What should I do so to ask judge to give me a 12hrs class.

thanks

The thing is, depending on the state, you cannot do traffic school 2 times in a 12-18 month period.
You can plead your case but you will be stuck with court costs as well as the ticket and points

It depends on the jurisdiction...and the state...each is unique in their requirements. Let me give you an example of Salt Lake City traffic court.

You can use the traffic school option only once per 12 month period. That 12 months is like probation. If you get another ticket within that 12 months, you not only pay the ticket, but it gets put on your record. If you make it past the 12 months, your record is clear, and the insurance company will never know.

You will need to ask at your local traffic court processing center.
