Some sort of test is required. Some schools take the SAT scores, some the ACT. Check with the schools you're interested in attending.

Yes, you can take the test even though you've graduated from high school. You can check the ACT site for test dates and test prep info:

http://www.actstudent.org/regist/currentdates.html

In some cases if you go to a community college first, a university or 4 year college will waive the ACT scores if your GPA is high enough. Check with the schools you're interested in attending for more info.

Good luck! College is hard and frustrating at times, but it's so worth it. So just go for it! You won't regret it!

Some schools require it and some don't and yes it can be taken even though you have already graduated. Go to the nearest high school and go to the office and tell them if they can give you an ACT packet. You'll find out all of the other information in the packet like where you will take it and what time and all that. Good Luck

I don't think it's a requirement. It depends on what university. You can sign up to take it at the College Board website. When you enter your location, it will tell you testing sites that are close to you. You need to sign up a few months before the test date, so you can prepare, and so the site you choose doesn't fill up.I'm also fairly sure you don't need to be in high school, since I took it in seventh grade.

Go out on to google and do a search for the American College Testing (ACT) examination. You definitely can take it after high school.
