most of mine have been friendly but one of them was really mean, they won't take off your finger like a snapper, but it hurts, mine caught the end of my finger and ripped of a big chunk of skin and flesh, but thts because it cauth the end, if it bites something larger that it can't get its head on as well it will be alot less, if you are worried about getting bit though just keep you hand away from its head.

RES rarely bite, like i mean RARELY. ive personally never ever been bittin by any of my 3 Full growns RES. Mike, Bill and Moe

It can be a nasty pinch... but it takes a little work to get one to bite you.
