My friends boss is not paying her for hours that are overtime and this has been going on since last month and he owes her more then 20 hours overtime! Who can she talk to about this situation. THe company she works for is a small one and hes the boss and president of the company well he owns it who can she talk to about it!

She recently resigned and now he doesnt want to give her 2 weeks pay! Who can she talk to!

a good source to find your local offices would be the dept of labor website. It has laws and regulations both federal and state laws listed. The overtime is a federal law, but the site will have contact info for your local offices.

She can try the labor board. As far as the two weeks pay he does not have to pay it unless she worked the two weeks. If he fired her then yeah he owes her two weeks severence pay but she resigned so she is not owed the severence pay.

Call the labor board in your state. Unless she is saleried she should be getting overtime pay.

Dept of Labor, its a government branch (not sure if its a state or county level) thats supposed to regulate wage, salaries, employee/employer rules/rights etc.
