I cut mine in half and it works just fine (and I have to buy less of them). Best of luck to you!

I actually did this myself. I bought a 2 weeks supply of the patch. I wore the whole patch for a couple of days. I then cut 1/4 of it off, I did this for a couple of days. I then cut another 1/4 of it off. This now left me with 1/2 of a patch. I did this for a couple of days. I kept doing this until I had nothing left. It seemed to work for me. I also bought cigarettes with no nicotine in them. Hope this helps, Andrew.

I have heard that cutting the patches may not work well with cheaper or generic brands as they may expel most of their nicotine at once and not time-release it.

But I definitely cut a brand name patch and it really helped me as I could taper off slower than in 3 jumps.

Good luck. Smoking sucks and I feel SO much better as a non-smoker. It's better to be an ex-smoker with an occasional desire to smoke than a smoker with a constant desire to quit. The challenges to quit are definitely worth it when it gives you a lifetime of never feeling like you 'need' to smoke again!

Yes. Cutting the patches is just the same as buying a smaller dose patch. Can save you money too

Can you read.
It plainly states on the box if you cut the patches you can cause an increase in the nicotine being released into your body, which in turn can cause tachycardia, which in turn can cause cardiac arrest. Now you decide if you want to cut the patches or not.

Don't cut them, they won't work as well. Just go to a lower dose, or don't wear them overnight.

They don't stick as well, but yes they work.
You could bandaid it down or tape it.
