Jewelry. Especially danish modern sterling pieces and any unusual vintage pieces. I also collect Maxfield Parrish original prints.

I have a huge collection of timepieces. Ladies watches as old as 80 yrs and miniature clocks, I even have the very first nurse's watch ever produced by Timex. I love time pieces and have no idea why, except I hate to be late for anything.
I also collect antique books. I love reading the old volumes,handling them with great care, of course. The feel of the pages, knowing that they have been around so long and are still usable. I love books and antique books make me feel like I'm saving something from the past for my future. It's kinda cool.

You could collect banknotes (world paper money), because that's what I collect and that gives me a lot of satisfaction as I can enjoy the educational benefits of worldwide currency banknotes, and also exchange or trade them with collectors, buy them from dealers (sometimes) or from shops and I can also sell them decades later for more money to other collectors or even to investors. I have a collection of 17 thousand + different world banknotes and I am still adding more to it. I used to collect stamps, but I find larger-than-stamps banknotes to be more rewarding in experience than stamps or postcards.

Trial size perfume samples, handbags, sunglasses. If I am going to collect something then it has to be something that I can use/wear. I don't like too many things which just sit around and collect dust.

I collect mechanical pencils. I'm always on the lookout for a new pencil, no matter where I go. Mechanical pencils are hard to find, especially retailers with a wide variety. I just think they are the neatest things. "Say What" do you collect?

Handmade ceramic platters and other pieces. I love really contemporary and abstract work, and collect from certain artists. They are all over my house!
