fool, dont trade KROD for crap! 1 for 1 Don't give up KROD for anything less than PV, Ozman, Big Z, or Webb. Pick up Borowski if you can. Who are your starters?

that looks like a good trade if the other owner will take it, pettite will obviously get some wins with the yankees and zito could have a good year

saito is not going to close, probably, just for your info, jonathan broxton will, at least to start.

Do not pick up borowski, the cleveland indians had about 5-6 saves all of last year, and borowski will blow a lot of saves. i would imagine, with the improving clevend offense he could get 20-25 saves.

If you have a droppable player, certainly you should pick up Borowski. Saves are too tricky to predict an actual number, but I think he should get 30 barring injury.

I would then use your glut of solid relievers as trade bait, though I don't like the deal that you say you want. Krod is too good to give up for mediorce starters. You need at least one solid starter to go with the mediocre one. Not an ace, per se, but, say, a Dan Haren type.

i would do this trade because relief pitchers are always changing and the closer spot has the highest turnover at any position. With Zito, in the NL, you know that you will get 14+ wins, 3.5 or lower ERA, and with his new delivery, probably about 170 ks. K-rod will probably get around 50 saves, sub 1.75 ERA, and about 100 ks, and 1 or 2 wins. Boroski will get around 40-45 saves. If you can, try to get someone a little better than pettite, but even if you cant, i would reccomend making this trade.

Do not trade one of the top closers in the league. Also Putz is now injured and they are not sure how bad it is. I heard reports on Gordon that he might lose opportuities is closing games this year so i don't think he will have as good a year as last year. KEEP K-ROD!!!
