So yesterday a friend of mine left a comment on her myspace saying that he thinks I'm going to ask her out. At the time she didn't really say anything about it. Today when I was talking to her she said my friend told her that everything he said was true. I told her that I really liked her but I told her that my friend said that she told him she didnt want me to ask her out. She said that she actually told him it would be weird for me to ask her out because I knew that she just wanted to be friends... although until then I didn't know she just wanted to be friends lol. Anyways does it sound like she does want me to ask her out or should I be taking her seriously and she does just want to be friends... I mean she was the one who brought it up... should I just try to get over her and just be friends, or should I be asking her out?

That was her really nice way of saying she just wanted to be friends -- so I would leave it at that. I'm mean really why would she say it?

Do you really like her? If so, it's always worth a try. Girls tend to bring up the topic if they are intrested with the person.
