my teacher gave me a weather crossword puzzle for homework. the word has 9 characters. the second letter of the word is e, third last letter is e, fifth last letter is t.

Since levanter isn't 9 letters, and I'm a little confused by your "third last" and "fifth last", could you repost this using *'s for the letters you don't know? Example: *E**T*E**
If that's it, the answer is JETSTREAM

I think it's "levanter." Otherwise maybe it's "seabreeze" if the word with the t is wrong?
