How Can I get my computer to show hidden files when browsing around on My Computer and My Documents and such?

Control Panel - Folder Options - View tab - Show hidden files and folders check box.

Click on files and folders in control panel then click on the view tab and check the little circle to show hidden files.

start, run, type in explorer.
on the menu, click, tools and folder options.
onthe view tab, select the option to view hidden files and folders.
