Ok, thanks, and are there actually people like that in this world?
Are they born with it, or do they use surgery?

To a degree, yes. There is a terrible birth defect called Intersexed. There are usually one set that is more developed. The people with this are always infertile. Lots of time, a surgeon will make a cosmetic change in infancy, usually to remove the penis (easier)-- there is a LOT of debate about doing this. Outcome studies have shown that people born intersexed tend (not always) to have a lot of adjustment problems. They used to use the word "Hermaphrodite" which is inaccurate (due to inability to reproduce), and is considered a very hurtful term.

You're thinking of intersexed people. Sometimes, babies are born with both sets.. usually doctors try to "fix" them by converting to whichever is more prominent. But the genitals are the physical part of it.. the same hormone imbalances (or genetic variations) that cause physical intersexed condition cause mental intersex condition, aka transexualism.

It is not really possible to surgically recreate both penis and vagina, nor would any sane doctor try such a thing. But it is possible to reconfigure a penis into a vagina. Not really that weird. Penis and clitoris are the same bits of flesh created differently in the womb.

hope this helps a little.

they are called hermaphrodites , if they are born in America they can afford to get surgery to remove the dominant genital ,but in third world country they stay that way unless they have a lot of money to pay for that surgery . My friend (she is Indian ) told me they are very common there why i don't know but she says some can't afford the surgery or to come here to get it so they stay that way until they die

Yes. A person born with this defect is most commonly known as a "hermaphrodite" or "intersexed". Surgery can correct this condition

Yes, people who are card carrying members of both female and male genitals are refered to as intersex.

I dont know the correct medical term for them but they are refered to as hermophrodites. They are born appearing to be female but when they get older their male sexual organs drop down. Must be awful confusing for them. I believe if they are noticed at birth they remove the the male gentalia and they are brought up female but they are infertile.
