Could you help me think up a topic about heroes in general... a topic I could write a good, strong 5-paragraph essay on? I can't seem to think one up that would be one whole essay long. This can not be on one particular hero... I am to write an essay about heroes in GENERAL... but I need a prompt ><

How bout...you don't need super powers to be a hero? and go on explaining how ur average person becomes a hero by helping others in what ever way they can....whether it'd be donating blood, donating an organ, giving money to charity, talking to someone about their problems, defending someone when they're being bullied, etc.
you don't have to save someone's life to be their hero.

Heros could be any 1 and you don't need superpower to be a hero. A normal person can saved a person from a burning building and be called a hero

You could concentrate on common characteristics of heroes OR you could write about what makes a hero (situations, responses, and/or people's perceptions) OR you could talk about what makes a hero, the definition and/or what it takes for people to recognize someone as a hero. I hope this helps.

write about what you think makes a good hero.... theres the comic book heroes... with supernatural powers
then in reality.. there are heroes such as policemen, firefighters, and soldiers....
then personally.. your parents could be your hero... your friends who you cannot live without.. they are your heroes....
and if thats still not long enough.. talk about the differences in each one...

Think of society in general. Society is a hero because it works as a mirror/reflection to help you see yourself better and who you really are, competition in society helps you to become better at what you are, society is also family, friends and teachers.
