If you want a good job done, the best way is to take them down "sorry" then put them in the bathtub, with 1 cup of vinegar and some dish detergent, just leave them soak for awhile as you are having your break, then take a small terry cloth dish towel, and run it across the slats. drain the water when you finish them. Turn on the shower and rinse them. Hang them over the shower bar to drain, make sure you have a towel underneath to catch the drippings. If you want to try and do them on the window use 1cup vinegar to 2 cups water and see how that does.

if you don`t want to take them down then you have to do one slat at a time..however, if you take them down and submerse them in your bathtub to soak with warm water and soap it will work better and really...how often do you do it? I do mine in the spring and in the fall. Once cleaned you can purchase a blind cleaner brush..it`s kinda` like a 4 finger glove that allows you to glide over your slats 4 ata time and they are relatively inexpensive and at most malls.

Take a soapy rag with bleach for white ones and wipe down the slats.

A feather duster works best.
