I'm really confused about the territory of Israel. Before Israel's Independence, what are the territories comprising the State of Israel? I have seen a map of Israel in the Bible that the Jordan river serves as the boundary of Israel and Jordan...So, does this mean that the West Bank really belong to Israel?

Those lands were annexed to Israel in 1967,during the 6 day war, when Israel attacked and defeated three Arab countries...They annexed West Bank, which was under Jordanian mandate,Gaza Strip, which was under Egyptian mandate and the Golan Heights which belonged to Syria...Actually this occupation was declared illegal under international law and Israel should end it...
Now Golan Heights still are under Israel control, although it's illegal ,while Gaza Strip and West Bank are controlled by the Palestinian Authority and don't belong to Israel...

In 1948 Israel became independent. at that time it lacked the West Bank, Golan Heights, and Gaza Strip. It has fought many wars between the Arab world for the territory gains that it has received. In the six day war it captured the Golan Heights, Gaza Strip and West Bank from Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Israel felt it necessary to gain a buffer zone between the nations since the pre-six day war boundaries were from a defensive perspective unacceptable. It took these territories from those three countries because of repeated aggression from the Arabs who were intent on wiping out Israel. These territorial gains is still what fuels the animosity between the Arab world and Israel to this day. The Arab countries believe they should be given back their respective territories but they started the wars and that is what happens in war. The territories were not original Israels but they gained them from the defeat of the Arabs in the 1967 war. Hope this helps anwser your question.

The West monetary corporation and Gaza are what continues to be of Palestine, that's referred to now as 'Israel'. the human beings who stupidly assume that there replaced into no Palestine do no longer do not ignore that Arab countries in the area were jumbled at the same time borders, and each of the position replaced into below the real of diverse governors and states in the time of: the Muslim khalifs, the Umayads, Abasis, then after a lengthy time period the Ottoman Empire. the position replaced into called Palestine, certainly, like Egypt replaced into called Egypt and Syria ' Al Sham' . There wa no empty position in the Midlle East, and human beings outfitted real civilizations and ties with the land. The Zionist propaganda has always used the empty etho of 'a land with no human beings for a those with no land' and circulated the parable that Palestine replaced into 'empty': the position did the blistered villages, cities, the position did homes, olive timber, music, and so on come from? Palestinians lived in the realm, and they are an Arab those that precisely stay a similar way as Lebanese or Syrians. Did the diaspored tens of millions of Palestinians, who were compelled to leave their homestead for savage settlers come from the Moon? The declare that that's a 'Jewish land' and that Jews ought to colonize Palestine after thousandss of years is the most stupid common sense blunder the favourite international has made. If Hitler persecuted them Jews, what's the area of Arabs in this? Jews who lived in the Muslim countries always lived in an surroundings finished of respect. i ask your self what number of human beings know that Islam prohibits forcing a faith on someone or persecuting a minority.

During the 6 day war of 1967 Israel was attacked by Arab countries. In the course of self defense it pushed backed these countries and aquired these terroritories.

I'd like to point out these references of Israel "illegally" occupying these terroroties as complete bias. As many countries take land from other countries as a course of reprecaution for launching an offensive as in France and the United States.
