well I have an alarm that calls the fire department whenever any smoke detector starts to sound the alarm...also have 3 fire extinguishers in the kitchen and laundry room and another next to my bed...hopefully can catch a fire before it does too much damage

I think its opposite the fire catches the house.
Jacket is 1 thing to my mind, purse/id. Cell phone.

my mum said i have to grab a living thing first ie: family, the dog etc but i would be freaking out what to save of my possessions.. ipod vs family photos vs cds

can't tell really.. adrenalin rush makes people really strong.. some report that they even had the energy to lift the refrigerator! but if that happened to our place i'll just get my mom, my brother and the money out of the house.

I would grab my photo albums/pics. They would be the only things that cannot be replaced.
