I have a few questions about centipedes-
(1)I live in th northeast- what species of centipedes are the small orange ones that I find under rocks?
(2) Are pet giant centipedes able to coexist with others of their own kind, or do they need to be kept in isolation?
(3) Do centipedes rely on antenna for sight, or do they have adequate sight?
(4) And finally, do giant centipedes make good pets?

1)probably stone centipedes and they are fairly social
2)better to keep seperate ...unless you dont want to have one big fat one and one missing one. UNLESS they are opposite sex then maybe.
3)Actually they do use their antenna and if i remember right they are almost blind
4)What do you mean by pet? They are not snuggly in the least and most people are not inclined to handle them. They bite and bite hard, they will make you bleed. Some are medicaly significant. Check for more info about them at www.arachnoboards.com and search for centipede. or browse the myriapod section
