Can someone tell me how many uses are there in a pair of fencing pliers

Well let's see.....The pliers are a given, a hammer, staple puller, wire twister, wire cutter. All of these are necessary for installing barbed wire fencing. To have it all in one tool, was akin to having a 80 gb Ipod back in the day. I'll bet the horse appreciated it also.

the hooked ones have hammer, claw for drawing out stapples
or nails, hook for digging out embeded stapples, and plyers to iether draw the wire tight or the fence wire tight, then you have the snips for cutting the wire,so that is five, unless you count the throwing when you get fed up.

Don't forget when you slip off the fence staple they pinch your hand, and give you one hell of a blood blister.
