who else thinks nmadi asomugha is very underrated, he had an amazing year with like 7 interceptions he was a shutdown corner, and the opposing offenses almost never threw to his side because of that and he never gave up even after being on the field for 40 min.

i wouldnt say "shut down" because champ bailey is the closest thing "shut down" corner. but i agree. from watching the raiders consistantly lose. he is one of the better defenders on the team. maybe in time. he will become an NFL elite.

Very underrated, was named to the Pro Bowl two to three days before it started, but couldn't catch a plane to Hawaii on the last minute. Bailey isn't that much of a Shut down corner, remember how Raiders Jerry Porter once scored 4 TD's against Bailey in 2004 all in One Sunday night Game. Bailey is so over rated. Nnamdi Asomugha is underated, as so is his Passing Defense such as Fabian Washington, Stuart Sweighter and Michael Huff. Why? because as we all know, the NFL has always had something against Americas real team, The Raiders. Keeping players down, Such as Warren Sapp, who was suppost to be in the pro bowl after 10 sacks he possesed as a DT. Kirk Morrison (ILB) is also underated. But I bet when the Raiders start winning some games, everybody will try to jump into the ship of the Raiders. Just watch and see.

Yes it is crazy he didn't get invited to the Probowl until the last second. Raiders had the best Pass D in the league and Nmadi was tied for second with 8 ints. The entire Raider's D is underrated though. The Raiders D could be the best in the league next year. Even though they didn't get any big FA out of the Top 5 Ds from last year they are the only one with all their starters coming back.

Yes he is underrated but that is easy to be when his team is so bad. He has become one of the better corners in the league. Teams had so much success against the faiders that there defense which was really good as a whole was underrated.

Yes, i agree. he is very underrated. when you play on a team as bad as the raiders, the opposing offence can run the ball all day, and pick on the other corner, which is what all teams do to great sucess. Its almost impossible to the run or the pass when the other is so sucessful as one leads to the other.

i agree.
I am a raider fan. i enjoy watching him. He can jump high and get the ball.
i also think Stuart (Somethin)SS is underated.
