I know there is no deffinat answer to this question, But I was wondering what others think or found is true...Are peolpe born with a certain sexual preferance or does it come about over time with life experinces, or even both?. I'm doing a research project in my gender class and wanted to know others thoughts and findings.

I absolutely believe we are born with our sexual preference. I've never doubted for a minute that I am heterosexual. It's never been up for debate. I can't imagine that someone homosexual feels any differently. I don't think either is a choice, it's a fact.

You will get a lot of controversy over this.
Often times, many people are bourn with unbalaced chemicals. These chamicals will change the way they enteract with their environment and eventually they will have an "expiriance" with someone of the same sex. Not always. Many people born with these chemical imbalances will lead commpleatly normal lives.
Their are also people who turn gay an acidental or perpousfull experiance with the same sex. These people ar adicctid to the "feeling" involed in their expieriance.
Their is a 3rd group. People who are raised into a life of mulastation often become used to it and use the same sex to eliminate basic body urges.

I believe sexual preference is almost always a result of nature. I've heard that more homosexuals are born during times of stress like wars because stress hormones present during pregnancy can result in trauma to the fetus. I've also heard that the cochlea (a part of the inner ear) of some lesbian females resembles that of heterosexual males. So there is a PHYSICAL difference that accompanies sexua preference.

OK so i will give you my opinion! I don't think that nurture has any thing to do with it. Yes i believe that your born with a certainty preference. I also think that experience's have i big role to play in any ones life. No matter what you prefer in the beginning a certainty good, bad, or traumatic experience can definitely alter your preference. But that is just my opinion.

Some people have a; "Horn dog" conscience. This is also known about the young typically being; Young, Dumb and full of...........Testosterone. I think it's usually a matter of personal taste.(?!) To eaches own they say.
