Yes. but so sad he does die. He tries to save his friend from being stabbed by a bully and ends up gettin stabbed in the process. It is so sad. Everytime I watch it I cry over and over again. And I have watched it about 30 times no joke.

I didn't find this movie sad; I found it silly. The ending was unnecessary (I guess to push the character toward sainthood). It soils its own message by desperately trying to control your every thought and reaction as you watch it. It's not engaging or inspiring (as a good story should be). It's just one of the most manipulative movies I've ever seen.

The kid dies when he tries to save another kid from a bully and the bully stabs him.
